My husband and I have travelled to more than 50 countries with group bus tours, on our own, with a private guide and with small groups. We love to travel and can adapt to different itineraries. Our vacation with Patrick Heffron and Francetrek was however,one of the very best we have ever taken. His attentiveness, concern, knowledge and capabilities gave us an intimate look at Provence, it's towns, its people, its beautiful countryside. We stayed at wonderful hotels with excellent service and food. The accommodation and points of interest were carefully chosen by someone who really cared about our comfort and pleasure. The paths and trails we followed were varied and Patrick was able to alter and adjust our excursions to take advantage of the season, the weather, our ambitions and our abilities. All this at a very reasonable price. We have told all our friends to take his tours and we hope to join him again for future vacations.

'We would like to thank Francetrek for providing such a wonderful tour in which the overall experience was outstanding .The itinerary took us to places we would not have discovered on our own . It had condensed into one week the highlights from what would have been many weeks of exploration away from the typical tourist places. The walks took us right into the region and we experienced a sense of soaking up the feel of the land .The guesthouse was rustic and charming .

Our guide , Patrick Heffron , who made this holiday exceptional .Apart from his knowledge of the region , history, language and culture , his personal qualities ensured the group got the most enjoyment out of the trip . Patrick was interesting , always accommodating. considerate and senstive to our needs as individuals and as a group.
